[Well. Kaoru's off doing god knows what and that means that when Lili comes home she'll find that there's one (1) Sol seated on the couch and seemingly waiting for her. They don't speak just yet, but they give her a moment to notice them.]

We need to talk. [Cool. Ominous.]

[coastal]

[WELL.

SHE BRISTLES IMMEDIATELY.

The temperature in the room is most certainly dropping once she lays eyes on the hooded figure.]

We do.

I'm glad you're aware.

[cyclists]

[CLOSES EYES.]

Wait, do you already know what this is about? [Sol suddenly sounds unsure but also Lili can you please find an iota of chill.]

[coastal]

I know what I want to talk to you about! You just saved me the trouble by coming to find me first.

[she HUFFS and - the uncertainty reminds her that sol hasn't been here that much longer than she has

BUT WHATEVER SHE'S STILL MAD]

Did you make any progress since yesterday about discovering more answers?

[cyclists]

Yes and no. That's sort of what I need to talk to you about. [Although this is now kind of a daunting task.] Before you ask, we haven't made any progress about getting you home faster or what the darkness is. We're still working on it.

[coastal]

Work faster, or delegate what else we can do.

[she's crossing her arms]

There are people here who have been torn from their loved ones and their missions - it might not be your choice to have brought us here, but you're meant to help bring us back. I'll agree to help you as long as we know what we're meant to actually do.

But I can't turn a blind eye to forced captivity either.

[cyclists]

[Man, what do you even say to that? For a moment Sol grows silent again because, like, yes? She's right? They agree with her?? But at the same time...uuuugh.]

Got it. [Just. To. Acknowledge all of that.] I don't really get it either, but from what I understand the core is still really fresh. It's easy to manipulate and just as easy to corrupt. Lune and I were brought here to try and find the source of the disturbances starting to effect the core itself. The universe decided that it couldn't just be us. It had to be people that had a certain amount of light and darkness in them.

That's why there's so many of you and why you're from different places. [There's a pause.] What we're meant to do here is shape that instability into something else, whatever that may be. [...] Even though it can only be one path, they felt that it was necessary to have multiple people work for it.

[So with that explanation in mind:] Lune and I discovered something recently about the people you're sharing your homes with. And that's actually why I'm here.

[coastal]

[ . . . hmmmmmph.]

Well. [Yeah she's going to hate this.] You and the person you're sharing with are sort of bound together. All of you are bound to somebody, actually. [Sur...prise...] But it means that whatever happens to you will also happen to them.

[They'll let that settle first to gauge her response before continuing.]

WEEK 2, THURSDAY

[When Lili enters the kitchen, she'll find Sol poking at said rice-cakes with a hand because what even are these?]

...what are these?

[coastal]

Food.

[she approaches, sans her right eye, and crosses her arms once she sees them]

.... we had them back home, and I figured out the recipe, so...

[cyclists]

...thanks. I don't think I've ever seen something like this before. [Pokepoke. But it's Lili, so they seem to be watching her.]

What's going on?

[coastal]

[ . . . she sighs and looks away for a moment.]

Shess told me not to be too short - and Naminé said that you're in a difficult position too. That there are things that you want to accomplish, but you can't, because of other limitations placed on you. We ought to be more considerate of both of you, than just angry.

[ . . . ]

That's easier for me to understand.

[she'll look back at them]

So I'll try not to hold you in contempt.

[cyclists]

Oh. [...] Thank you? [He sounds confused but also grateful because Lili not being scary is nice and also Naminé is a good girl. And Shess is nice. But he nods along.]

...I understand being in a position where it feels like you're stuck, and you guys don't have it easy either. So...if you'll let me, let's start over and work together.

[He's also. Gently nudging her into whatever her real reasoning is. Lili seems to know what she's doing.]

[coastal]

[ . . . and she nods.]

I'm here to ask you for something - but I didn't want to do it after the last time we met, I hit you.

[so that was her not quite apology but at least recognition that she was in the wrong. she's not apologizing for the rest of it]

You saw how injured everyone got, right?

[she asks, standing in front of him with uno eye]

[cyclists]

[That's...fair.]

I've had worse since I got here, so it's whatever. [Normally he wouldn't say that, but it's an "apology accepted" sort of deal. But there's a pause.]

I noticed. Because of what happened in that gateway, right? [...] How's your eye?

[coastal]

Probably gone for good, but I'm alive.

[so she's not going to be outwardly upset about it....]

My partner's leg is broken, and someone I care about has a fairly bad wound.

[she'll gesture a slice across her abdomen]

week 7, Monday

[coastal]

[hey what’s up, punk.

lili is approaching with two bowls - one has cat food, the other seems to have ice cream. lots of ice cream with different flavors.

so wherever sol is, she’ll just wander over]

Hey.

[cyclists]

[He's probably in the garden watching the koi pond, because there's koi here even after Roxas and Tsuru probably stole some from Lune. Either way, he looks up when he hears Lili approach and he waves. Wednesday is in his hands, paw batting at the water but he mews up at Lili, too.]

Hey. Need a hand? [Two bowls is a lot to juggle sometimes, so he can at least offer. ]

[coastal]

Well, it’s not like I plan on holding onto either of these -

[because she’s offering the ice cream out to him after she puts the bowl of cat food down on the ground for Wednesday]

Here, take it.

[cyclists]

Oh. [Maybe don't be surprised, dumbass. Wednesday kicks out of Sol's arms and moves for the food immediately as Sol takes the bowl of ice cream.] Thanks. [...eyeballing it...] What's even in here?

[Also, have a seat, they're fish-watching now.]

Whatever I found in the fridge - it’s ice cream, so it’s not like the flavors can be bad or anything, right?

[LILI NEVER VENTURED INTO THE WEIRD FLAVOR REALM

but it looks like chocolate, green tea, vanilla, and strawberry. just different scoops of them.

she’ll help herself to a seat then]

You’re not giving up or anything, right?

[cyclists]

This one's good. [He points to the green tea one. But he's also going to summon a second spoon to hold out to her if she wants.]

...I don't really have time to give up, you know? What good would it do? [So no, he's here til the end.]

[coastal]

Oh - thanks.

[she wasn’t actually expecting to get a spoon?? she takes it before listening to his answer and then nodding]

Good.

I thought you might get depressed all of a sudden or something.

[so she brought him ice cream but like. that’s embarrassing to say out loud so she won’t be THAT direct about it]

[cyclists]

[There's a huff as he shakes his head.] So long as I have people to look after and save, I don't really have time for that either. This isn't the first time an impossible situation's come up. Probably won't be the last either.

[He takes a bite.] ...but thanks. I appreciate the thought. [Moe...]
