I assumed that was something the two of you already had an answer for.

[A shrug.] Lune and I don't really know much about the gateways before we get the locations from the universe. So when we open them it's sort of a surprise for us, too.

[Sol has also never seen yaks, so there's that.]

You don't know why there's never any people until Tuesdays, then?

Probably the same reason there weren't people when we got to this place. They may be worlds that're frozen in their own times, except an important person from their world that shows up who has changed things for them. People keep meeting natives of each gateway, but then those people go away.

Could be that the universe just doesn't want to see them either.

... Why wouldn't the universe not want to see them? Aren't the inhabitants of those world a part of the universe?

Yeah, but if they acknowledge them they might have to bring them into this and that adds even more people to the pool of participants. It's just a guess though.
