[this is where i curse the fact that i can't think of how to conveniently format this except to use italics again so that's a thing, but shess pauses, before smiling.]
Is it that exciting?
[as shess said before, it's something akin to a voice inside one's head, almost echoing. but it does sound like an older teenage/young adult male so even though his mouth doesn't move, giving no indication he's spoken, it's clearly shess's. congrats on being the first person to hear his voice here, lune.]
that said, even having it explained to him, lune can't help but gently raise a brow at the echoing in his head. it makes him smile? yeah, a very genuine, very pleased smile stretches across his lips]
I would say so.
This was quite the fortuitous idea. I enjoy the sound of your voice.
well, the thing about having his actual voice heard, rather than a digital production, is that there's more affect now when he speaks, so. he sounds a bit sheepish over how pleased lune seems to be.]
Can't say I get that a lot, but I guess this is a unique situation.
and the sheepishness just manages to make lune's smile grow, a brief glint in his eye. he does rather enjoy a game, now and again - and it's fun to hear when he might actually be able to fluster shess.]
I would say so -
It's odd... but I can't help but feel closer to you now, my friend.

[teasing aside, he actually sounds genuinely pleased about that?]
Our conversations will only grow livelier... I'm quite glad.

[lune looks a little surprised and a little amused at that]
I wonder why you would find such a thing concerning. Have I not been well-mannered?

[he saw that look in your eye, lune.]

[he's not nasty like hisoka
but also lune always seems like he's having fun, especially with shess]

that's actually a decently surprising answer. lune raises a brow at that, gently amused]
Oh my. A return compliment from Shess. How bold. I wonder if I have appropriate means to express my pleasure.

[at least directly to lune!!
still, he doesn't mind]
It is akin to receiving a gift.

You do neglect to send me flowers on occasion.

But you needn't worry. You take excellent care of me, my friend.

[because lune is pretentious, and likes to receive beautiful gifts, even if they're rather simple.
but.]
However, your attention and time are also gifts that I am always honored to receive, busy and constantly occupied as I am sure you are.
no subject
I'm not sure if it's that much of an honour if I approach you for a practical purpose.
no subject
[but there's just a smile at that]
Though if those feelings are only my own, then that would not be the first time either.
no subject
No... I'm the same. If I had to exclude those I know out of practicality, that would leave me with few people.
