We've been shitposting away in the Discord, but things sure can get lost. HELLO!!! my name is sib!! i think most of you know me already but hi anyway. i'm in the discord if you need to reach me!

i'll be playing cinnabar from houseki no kuni / land of the lustrous, a manga about cute gems doing cute things except it gets slowly worse every month and we're almost 80 months in at this point so you can imagine the kind of pain we are feeling. Cinnabar is a gem - a genderless, immortal being comprised of crystal. In their case, they're composed of... cinnabar! Crazy. They normally produce toxic mercury in spades, which corrodes everything it touches and has led Cinnabar to live an extremely isolated lifestyle. They're shy and introverted, preferring to keep their distance from others - and, in the interest of maintaining that distance, they tend to be cold and brusque in conversation, as well. However, it all stems from a desire not to hurt others. They're a very nervous and skeptical gem, but wise, as well, and caring, at heart. Their deathly low self-esteem and their anxiety keep them from putting their strength or intelligence to use 99% of the time.

Gems can't be killed like normal living things, since they're actually hive organisms made up of millions of microscopic creatures called inclusions. If they're broken apart, they can theoretically be put back together good as new, provided all their parts are gathered and glued. Cinnabar is made of crystal, but they have a very low hardness rating - a 2 out of 10, meaning they're soft enough to be scratched with a human fingernail. So they're not all that invulnerable in the end. Also, their poison is gone here... so they can touch things... they're gonna be a little freaked out and not know what to do about that, even though it's a good thing, because they're cinnabar

And for those non canon familiar, Axel used to be part of an evil Organization of inhuman beings without hearts until he adopted some kids, grew some feelings, ditched the Organization, killed himself, came back and became one of the good guys. So basically he's an ex self-involved criminal who now just can't stop adopting children and nearly dying to save them it's good it's all good this is going to make his partner being the tutorial child so... so fine

Hello, I'm January, bringing in Shess from Kubera!

He hails from a pseudo-demon species that has a penchant for war, might makes right, cannibalism, slaughtering humans and/or blowing up planets when in a bad mood, among other things, but uh. Thankfully none of that applies to Shess! He likes humans, would rather play with flowers than kill someone (unless they try to kill him first, in which case all bets are off), tends to take care of/nag/adopt people, and is generally a polite and tolerant guy (gestures to the rest of his aforementioned species) if a little shit at times. Basically, the sane mediator in a sea of people with no chill.

He's effectively mute because he has no vocal chords that let him make conventional noise, so he'll be communicating through his tablet with fortunately a better TTS system than Discord.

hello everybody!! I'm very excited to get to play in a game with a bunch of new and old faces. For those of you who haven't met me, my name is Ty! I'm here to help drag everybody through a murderous good time.

I'm bringing in Kaoru Hitachiin from Ouran High School Host Club! For those of you who aren't canon familiar Ouran's a cute shoujo about a bunch of rich bastards who learn what love is and trip each other up over a girl named Haruhi. There's an anime on Netflix but this particular version of Kaoru is from the manga! Regardless he's 16 and a second-year high school student and he's going to have to learn to spread his wings on his own time which is going to be an Interesting experiment for him.

I'm Morgan, and this is my first murdergame and I don't know what I'm doing. You can contact me on plurk (gratisfaction) or discord (snaretactics#6762).

I'll be playing Tokidoki Rikugou from Amatsuki. Which, I'm not going to say too much about plot-wise because it's all twisty and spoilery. The basics being he's a high school kid who got uploaded into a virtual reality simulation of the Edo/Bakumatsu era while at a history museum and a demon ripped out his eye, but it's okay because it's still there somehow, it just doesn't work. The whole thing is a huge mindfuck with some of it taking place in the "real world" and some in the "virtual". His canon powers are basically god-status because the simulation doesn't recognize him as an NPC, so he has freedom within it.

Toki's very stupid, like "had no idea he was still in the same geographical area he started in, despite landmarks, until 90-something chapters in" stupid. He's confused a good deal of the time, talks way too much, and rushes into things. He always has good intentions, but he has a weird way of executing anything; backfires happen. He has a very boisterous and outgoing demeanor, but it's all fake smiles and he's very scared and lost inside, and he has trouble with what's real and what's not. He's going to think he just got transported to another VR game or something upon entering murderville.
