Maybe a little familiar. [They sound a little embarrassed.] But even so, that doesn't change that we can only do so much and tell them that before it sounds like we're repeating ourselves. I don't know...people believe it more coming from you than me, I think.
[A spoonful of ice cream disappears again.] On the other hand, anger isn't a bad motivator. But I'm afraid that if they're too angry, it'll encourage the corruption to find them.
Even if we are only repeating ourselves, it is the truth, is it not? At times you may need to be gentle and make them aware that perhaps the most direct line of questioning is not the most fruitful.
[at least, that's what lune does. gentle direction a different course if there's only an argument to be found]
But you are not incorrect. Frustration may make them more ripe to be consumed, but if one is not frustrated then they may be complacent.
As in all things, the answer may very well be balance.
So what you're saying is I have to be more patient with them even when they aren't patient with us. [That sucks? But...it works for Lune, so maybe it's something Sol should consider, too.]
As long as everyone's still pulling their weight and they have stuff to look after, maybe it'll be fine. [...] How are you so calm about all of this anyway?
I've seen battlefields at the hands of my masters and misfortune fall when I have been unable to do anything to stop it. In those cases, it was not corruption at play, but merely humanity.
Perhaps that is why I am able to look at those who have gathered here and see hope - as they try not to use their powers on one another, and only wish to help.
[he's so serene it's infuriating]
Even so, I don't want you to feel as though you must become a place for them to exert their frustrations.
...you...know a little about how things were for us. About the darkness and Xehanort's plan. [And all of that insane bullshit with timetravel and creating multiple vessels.] I see the same hope but I'm still worried about all of them. I know they'll get it right with time, but what if we don't have enough time? I don't like waiting. I never have.
I want to help. But...hopefully you don't mind if I send them to you. [There's a little huff.] You're old, remember? They should be mad at me and take it out on somebody who can fight back. Not that you can't fight back? I know you can, it's just...you know.
[...] I don't know if peace is manageable for me. But I'll work on it. ...thanks.
[there is a soft little assurance of that, and then lune will still reach out to place a hand atop sol's hood]
But peace is certainly manageable for you - perhaps not in a way that is permanent just yet. I believe that your fire shines a bit too brightly for that.
[it's said only in a very fond way, because it's not like lune is going to say that it's a bad thing to be impatient for more answers. they understand where sol is coming from.]
However peace might still be in small moments. To be able to share ice cream with a good friend, or indulging in a surprise - it is not bad to allow yourself moments of calm with people that you enjoy before you must begin work again.
You needn't feel as though you must fight all the time.
[A surprise huh. They don't push Lune's hand away still but there's a nod.]
...aren't you afraid of what might happen to them if the results aren't good ones? [Lune has their favorites just like Sol.] I get what you're saying but...[...no they're used to fighting full time, it's fine.] I don't want people thinking I'm not taking this seriously. I am. Even if I just want to be with them sometimes.
You've earned the ire of some rather difficult people. [kara. lune is thinking of kara] And I wonder if any answer that they don't like will ever be able to reach their ears... but they also still have much to learn.
[that's not sol's fault]
Even if I am worried...
I also believe they will only do their best to take care of one another. We are unable to intervene, after all. Frustration though it may be....
I asked Tsuru if I should apologize so...I'll think about that some more. [They also thought of Kara.] I think...maybe we should get a list from them of things we should ask. That might make them feel like they're getting something done.
[They turn to offer some ice cream? Why not.] ...do you think we're going to get in trouble if we do sort of intervene? Like...say...if I go and spend time with some people and give them my opinions on stuff.

You deserve peace as well, young one.
