Corona

Every Tuesday, the Corona will meet with the Signs and be presented with three choices to help or hinder the game's progress. This may include items, effects, scenarios or more. However, they will not be provided any further information about these choices and their results will vary. They will have to pick wisely.

Should the Corona choose to not pick at all, the Signs will pick for them instead and inflict a punishment on the Corona.

All choices will come to fruition to the game at large on Wednesday.

When the Signs seeks to summon the Corona, a portal will appear when they find themselves alone. Upon entering the door, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. The Corona will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Additional notes:
The Corona will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the games and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

[On Monday of Week 0, the Corona will find themselves drawn into a portal that brings them into the tea room. On the long, low black table in the center of the room, they'll find one scroll containing a summary of the basic information above.

When they look up, Sol and Lune will be present and available for questions.]

[Toki reads the scroll three times and still doesn't know what's really happening.]

Okay! My first question is why was I chosen for this and my second question is which questions am I supposed to ask!?

[cyclists]

[Hello. Sol considers this for a moment before there's a half-shrug.]

We were told to choose one person for something like this...and you seemed like an interesting choice. [Curious.] You can ask any questions that you want, and whenever you're ready to pick we have a list for you.

[yokeye]

I know I can ask whatever questions I want, which I did, but you didn't answer it! I asked which questions am I supposed to ask as in which questions will actually be good ones and get me useful information; that's a question in itself!

[He doesn't know if he wants to see the list.]

Another question also! Can I quit!? Can I transfer this responsibility to someone more worthy~!?

[cyclists]

That's a stupid question. [Like. Actually it's a nice loophole but Sol's mostly annoyed there can't be a good answer for that.] I don't know what questions you actually need to ask because I don't know what you've figured out yet.

[...but that's interesting.] Do you really trust anybody else with something like this?

[yokeye]

I haven't figured out anything except that you guys don't know anything either!

[Sol is giving non-answers because they know nothing, just like Lune had before.]

I don't trust me with something like this! I could get everybody killed! So, can I quit or not!? Answer the question! That's your job!

[cyclists]

We've been trying to tell you that! [Look it's annoying! Sol understands!]

I don't think you can quit, but I picked you because I didn't think you would. Am I wrong?

[yokeye]

So you don't know, again! You're obviously wrong because I'm right here asking to quit! But now that doesn't matter because you don't know if I can or not, which you could have just said at the beginning and we'd already be on those choice things by now!

[Apparently he's going to be here a while if it takes Sol this long to answer simple questions.]

[cyclists]

[There's a grumble under Sol's breath that sounds a lot like "I really don't have time for this."]

Do you want to quit? I can find somebody else but I don't know if I like the rest of my options here.

[yokeye]

[Sol isn't listening at all, so he's done here. He'll ask Lune questions instead.]

[yokeye]

Hello~! Hopefully, you'll be more helpful here! Question one; and let me phrase this better maybe, what will happen if I quit!? Question two; also going to rephrase this because there's some kind of miscommunication going on, so what sort of questions would be the most beneficial to ask here!?

In theory, the young one would have to find another to fulfill your role, but in practice, I agree that you are the best choice.

As for guidance for what questions are best to ask... [there is a hum and lune brings a hand up to their chin] The young one and I are capable of entering a different plane than the rest of you where we try to gather more information.

If we know the questions you would like, we can keep them in mind as we search for additional clarification.

[and before it comes up again - ]

For the record, we are already aware you would like to go home, and understand your desire to help everyone.

[He's getting nothing; still no questions answered in any way that actually has a definitive yes or no. They really don't know anything or have any power, and he will keep that in mind.]

Fine, what do you want to know?

Is there a reason that you believe you are unfit to make these choices?

[yokeye]

[Toki looks down at the floor.]

I'm not very smart. And I've... I've had this kind of responsibility before, and it's just, sometimes it's too much and I've really screwed up before, like erased people from existence by a making a choice and I don't want that to happen here!

[cyclists]

[there is a pause]

You are very kind.

[and lune will reach a hand out to light place it at the top of toki's head]

I believe that kindness is your strength. In a place such as this, we need more strength like yours.

I would rather trust this task to you, than someone who might care less about the power they hold, or would use it to harm the other people here.

I do not expect you to forgive us - but I hope you at least understand.

[yokeye]

[Toki does understand, on some level. Someone could very easily use this position for nefarious means. But if he makes a mistake, does it really matter if it had been intentional if it results in something horrible?]

You don't have to be forgiven; it's not your fault you had to pick somebody, right? Someone or something else is really in charge here.

[He should probably give this more thought, but does he have time?]

[lune retracts their hand then]

Mm... but it is frustrating, and what I imagine to be emotionally taxing. The young one and I are gathering answers to the best of our ability, but that does not mean we cannot understand the pain and struggle of the others here.

[as for the choices, lune will suddenly have a scroll in their hand, offering it over to toki]

The universe wishes for you to make a choice between the following:

We cannot foresee what the results might be... but I have faith that it'll be alright.

[This is worse than he thought. The scroll reveals nothing more than those words. How is he supposed to choose based on basically no information at all?]
