but ok let's start with the canon stuff which is LAUGHS INTO HANDS. her feelings on roxas as a whole are very complicated and in the series of bad decisions naminé has made in life, what happened to him is more or less what she feels the most bad for. it's funny because she went from screwing sora over, and then him forgiving her and the decision to try to repair his memories? so it was like, "ok cool, this is a little complicated but i should be able to get this done and then we can move on!!" and then... she found out about roxas and it turned out that, no, things were even more complicated than she thought! haha!
and the thing is, she couldn't like completely Get him. it's funny, because both of them were literally born at the same exact time, but because they "woke up" in two different locations, their paths were completely different. like imagine if they both popped up together instead. but since they were put into different situations, their senses of... idk how to word it, of self?? were different. like she flat out didn't quite understand Why roxas wanted to cling to his own identity and wanted to keep being his own person even as everything was pointing towards that he would no longer be able to do that. meanwhile, she accepted that she'd have to give it up quite easily? honestly i think the main difference between their views on that is literally just sora tbh. because if naminé hadn't met sora, she probably would not have been as willing as she was? considering she did consent to changing his memories if it meant that she'd have freedom, so she did choose her own life over his and then she actually saw what kind of person he was and was like "oh shit oh fuck i made a mistake." meanwhile roxas... didn't really accept it, but he became more okay with the idea after his contact with sora. it wasn't what he wanted to do, but it was the ~right thing to do, meanwhile a big part of naminé's motivation was trying to make up for what she did.
but like, besides that, she did like roxas? he was a nice kid and she did think that he should be happy! she felt bad about interfering with his life and making him choose over continuing to live it vs saving sora. and like, even if she presented it as a choice, in the end it really wasn't much of one because at the end of the day, roxas is a good person and he'd do what's right even if he'd be really :/ about it. but on top of that, she was tearing apart his friendship with xion and axel, which she felt... extremely bad about, since all naminé wants is friends, so having to separate them was something that was ): but then obviously the end of kh2 where they meet up again. i don't think either of them would have been as Happy in that scene if they were doing it on their own tbh. because it was a thing of "we're doing this together" because things are less scary when you're not doing it alone!!
moving onto the game!! he pretty much gave her a familiar feeling while talking to him? it was the kind of thing where he tried to hide it at first so she wasn't quite sure why, but she didn't get the same feeling from lune so she was like "huh." still, she didn't actually think too much about it until watching him and xion interact a few times and that's what made her go IS THIS ROXAS??? but she still wasn't completely certain until axel showed up all "uhhh so i think sol is roxas" and at that point she knew that both of them couldn't be imagining it so it had to be him. i think she was like... sort of hinting that she knew before this conversation with axel, but it was after it that she started very blatantly trying to egg him on to saying it's him. she thought it was fun pretending she didn't know while simultaneously hinting that she did, so she wasn't going to bring it up until he did? or unless something happened that forced her to say something.
except then ~the war~ came and that ended that since he just dehooded completely. she was a little bummed because honestly it was kind of fun, but she didn't mind because it did make things easier? when she only knew him as sol that meant there was a lot of things they couldn't talk about, or when she made kh references then he would have had to pretend he didn't understand which could be a little annoying because then she'd have to explain when they're both already aware of what she's talking about. she just kind of wishes that the situation that caused him to dehood wasn't as drastic as it was? because he was already had so much on his plate with what was going on, so adding to his problems by getting injured was not something she was proud of.
and then xion was corrupted and naminé decided at that moment that she would work even harder to try to make things easier for roxas. because he already had to once go through losing his best friends, and the last thing she wanted was for him to have to go through that a second time? and it would be like, even worse this time? because at least before he wasn't getting blocked by the universe from getting directly involved? and she knows roxas isn't the type to like to sit down and just let things happen around him, he likes to have control of his own destiny, so not being able to interfere while his friends were at risk and people were dying was probably horrible?
it's the main reason why she went on this big SUPPORT SOL campaign where she would tell people to go and talk to him. she knew that at this point the only way for the signs to really feel like they were helping was by talking to people and giving advice and hints, but he could only do that if people came to him for things. so when she found out that people didn't really depend on him that much for things like that, she got? super offended on his behalf? because yeah, roxas is young (especially compared to mikazuki) but he's still fully capable and has experience with dealing with difficult things. the other reason is that she just wanted him to have friends... neither of them really got to make a lot of them because of their situations, and she knows that roxas, despite everything, really is a normal teenage boy at heart. so naminé wanted him to get to experience normal things and be able to have people to talk to so she was determined to make sure that he could get chances like that but it would require people to like, you know. go and talk to him.
she especially appreciated his presence after she found out about the whole lms thing and it became more and more clear that there wasn't going to be any other option besides that. because everything seemed so heavy and dark so just being able to spend time with him normally meant a lot to her... and then him telling her that everything is okay in the future helped? but what she appreciated more than anything was him admitting that not everything is fine and that things go badly with sora, because he could have easily kept that a secret? so the fact that he trusted her judgment enough to tell her about it made her feel... i won't say happy because the situation still sucks, but she felt like she could be trusted with it. the irony is her keeping things from other people but it's fine it's all fine
and then she was corrupted lmao. i think she mostly just felt like she let him down... and also axel, considering axel wanted her to be lms. but she felt bad that she put him in that situation twice where he knew his friend did it but couldn't do anything about it. but... i think it was mostly roxas who made her feel a little better about dying, since he promised her they can still be together after? and like she knew the dead were still around obviously because of the tweets and seeing them in the digiworld but. knowing that and facing your death are two very different things, but roxas made it slightly less scary, and then him being there immediately when she woke up in the gy also helped her calm down in the aftermath.
her feelings on roxas being here are... complicated. because like, obviously she did not want him to go through this? he had already gone through so much back home and he deserved a very long nap instead of murder. despite that, she was... still glad to have him, because talking to him always made her feel better. her relationship with roxas was like, "i'm not sure if we're friends but i think we can get there if we had more time" and even if their situation was complicated, it wasn't like... awkward, like it was with axel. so just being able to sit with him and talk about anything from plot to just mundane and normal things was nice. overall, she would have wished that he didn't have to sit through something so shitty, but since he was here, she's thankful that they had each other and that they got to become closer and she can very confidently say that they're friends now? naminé will never think she's like anywhere close to the level of xion and axel for him and she doesn't think she'll ever be close to that level but she does think they're at least? close now, and she appreciates it a lot... it means a lot to her!!
