Naminé deserved a lot more than she got. But in all seriousness, Kaoru really liked her a lot! He thought she was a very sweet and levelheaded girl who was incredibly sheltered and he had a lot of questions about that, but as a host he decided he was just going to befriend her and help her have fun while he could. They weren't really close or anything, but he absolutely considered her a friend and wanted the best for her.

He thinks she's also stronger than she thought she was, and at the same time he felt like they were similar in having people around them who were stronger and who they depended on. It was a similar arc of growth for both of them and it made him feel a little more connected with her.

Overall, he thinks she's great and wants her to live a happy lifetime and be a little more confident in herself.
