Ari I'm so bummed we actually didn't thread sooner because Futaba and Roxas are hilarious and good kids overall. EVEN IF SHE KILLED ONE OF HIS FAVORITE PEOPLE, he likes Futaba a lot and he highkey respects how smart she actually is. He likes listening to her talk and he likes trading ideas and stories with her. They're (roughly, if you don't count the fact that he's a toddler) about the same age so he imagines this is also what it's like to have other friends to spend time with.

He's holding her to that promise of traveling different worlds and exploring because he wants to show her around and also pick her brain for ideas. He thinks they'd both benefit from something like that, but overall he just considers her a fun friend to spend time with and someone who continued to do her best all the way to the end, and someone who didn't shy away from the hardest things. That alone speaks volumes.
