TSURU'S FIRST BY NATURE OF NOT BEING A CASTMATE IG. So Tsuru had a bit of an advantage by being one of the first people to not only talk to Roxas one on one but also the first victim and therefore the first person in the graveyard. Roxas has never really been quite sure what to make of people like Tsurumaru who seem whimsical and kind of carefree, but even when he was treating him like a child Tsuru spoke to him like an adult and listened to him and actually held a conversation with him. He was unsure of him at first, but over time he grew on Roxas and Roxas found himself enjoying his company. He started to kind of understand him a little better, and he started trusting him more and Tsurumaru sort of ended up being his companion that he confided a lot of stuff in that he wouldn't tell anyone else.
He's kind of worried about what's happening to him back home because he's getting the sense it's Not Great but overall he's very glad to have met him and get to make new memories with him. More than anything though he's grateful that he helped take care of Mikazuki. He supports his grandpas.
...stares at Kingdom Hearts. Laughs a lot, but sadly.
So idk if I told you this before we started but I've actually never really had a chance to play off of a Naminé for any real length of time when I was actively playing Roxas. You guys had rotating Kairis and we had rotating Naminés for whatever reason. That said, I was really curious how their CR would go especially with their canonpoints, too. Roxas should actually still be kind of mad about everything that happened and Naminé's role in it, but being from KH3 and knowing what he knows, and also knowing that they've all come back and have their own lives really helped him just approach this as "this was the right thing to do, and it wasn't really her fault." (He can still be mad at Ansem the Wise and Riku though, I guess.) When Naminé first showed up in-game he realized that something was off and that's when he decided to just try and befriend her. He had a feeling she knew early on but he just never followed that line of thought or confirmed it until he crashed into the house after the war to see her, Xion and Axel.
Even though it was a murdergame and even though he should have been responsible, so much of his time with Naminé was purposefully spent just hanging out, talking, and letting her experience new stuff. I really hate canon because they only get to see each other for so little time before they're shoved back into Sora and Kairi's bodies. Roxas was highkey aware that she was the one he knew the least, and he took it into his own hands to fix that. He worried about her and he wanted to show her everything and give her good memories to latch onto while everything fell apart around them, and like I said on the CR chart she really did become one of his biggest confidants in the game. Naminé started to become associated with "comfort" and "stability" because even when things were bad things with Naminé were the same. He cares about her greatly and he's going to be impatient until she catches up to his point in time and they'll be able to not only share those memories, but make new ones together with everyone else.
