In truth, I believe that Ookurikara operates in a way that he makes choices on how the world ought to be. He will question your reason for secrecy, because if the task you completed was only to ensure the safety of others, why would you be condemned for it? He would prefer not to waste time solving a murder that was done to ensure the protection of others.
However I do not think that he would then choose to see you punished for your service. If there is something else to be solved - he would choose to pursue that lead instead.
[but lune will allow the scroll to materialize in his hands, offering it over to Emma]
If he gives you additional trouble, have him speak to me.
[First Shess, then Lea, and now Ookurikara... You're supposed to involve as little people as possible after murdering someone? And yet.]
Fine. Emma can talk to him. [Though she's unhappy about it.] I'll trust you, Lune. But I plan to hold you accountable if Ookurikara gets one or both of us killed.
It is not often that I meet failure - though I will also say that people will also not always listen exactly as I expect. Nonetheless, that has never stopped me.
[lune will break a number of rules just to tell people shit he maybe shouldn't]
... well, they are meant to be rather difficult tasks. Even I cannot say if he will entirely forgive you - perhaps you can at least come to an understanding.
Even I can only make a guess as to why you chose to alter his emotions as you did. If one were to seal away your emotions after you lost someone dear to you, how would you react?
Oh? I think he was incredibly calm - which may have made the whole ordeal all the more difficult.
[it doesn't take away from the fact that kara is stubborn but]
After all, it is difficult for one to compromise their ideals to begin with.
And when one chooses to wield a sword - they are constantly forced to consider what those ideals are. Often, the most just of reasons is that they have some things, or someones, that they wish to protect.
Given that Shirasu's legs were unbroken by the time that he was found, could it truly be said that Ookurikara was wrong to assume the worst?
Of course - such is merely an old man's opinion.

If you can call being a thick headed asshole "calm."
[Karas have no rights.
There's a pause, though, before she speaks up again.]
... But I get what you're trying to say, I guess. His reasoning is similar to ours. [Awful.] Enough that, if there's anyone who would understand why we made the choices we did... it's him.

Are you comfortable with me telling him? I wouldn't have to mention that you were involved.

Is there anyone who won't know what we did?

[MAYBE,,
but regardless lune looks pretty damn confident]
I would not advise you in a way that would lead to your certain doom. While the final touch of convincing him is in your hands...
I rather think that making an ally of him would make your lives much easier.

As for the... forgiveness part. [...] You know him better than I do.
[Please help her, etc.]

[She's ready to face whatever consequences come her way, but she would rather not get executed for this. Thanks.]

[why wouldn't emma just let kara midtrial]

[Which is definitely not the point, and she knows it, but.]

[he may or may not be leading her to an answer here]
It is not as though he acted so aggressively toward others.
