however above, it's only going to get trippier. the trees and leaves warp into the shapes of lanterns and warm lights. shess will still be able to feel the branches and the leaves beneath him - but the image in front of him will make it seem more like he's walking up the steps of an old japanese village, toward a shrine.
phantoms of faceless people walk alongside him, implying that he should continue to head along this 'path'.
