[It's not like Sol hasn't done audiences with multiple people before, but three of them all at once is a little daunting. When they arrive at the amphitheater, they'll find Sol seated on the edge of the stage with their legs dangling over the edge and gesturing to three seats in the front.]
In theory? Yeah, I could, but it would have to happen when the two of you complete your own tasks. I can't really add it to Val's...contract. [The word comes out like they aren't sure they agree with that particular word itself.] You'd have to take on tasks of your own and I could reward something similar.
I could give you the same kind of deal but you would have to do it on your own merit and not compare notes. And then afterwards, you can pick one person to keep watch over.
[A glance at Val.] Did you tell them everything about what we discussed? The conditional and everything.
If I can correctly deduce the Corrupted three times, I'll be able to stay awake during Thursday nights if the person I'm watching over is targeted. However, in exchange I'll have to purify the Corrupted.
So it is not awake in general, but simply for one person. I see.
What would one of us need to exchange to stay completely awake? Or is that--oh!
What if all three of us were to work towards keeping one person awake? Three people working to benefit one, would that be an agreement we could work towards?
So instead you want to try and find one person to act as a guard to stay awake every Thursday night? [Just to make sure he's understanding this correctly.]
If all of us worked together towards the goal of keeping one of us awake, could we perhaps barter on it not necessarily coming down to protecting just one person?
What if we were allowed to stay awake for all of one Thursday evening, regardless of who was the target?
This village—plus gateway—is large enough. If we were particularly unlucky, we may even miss the murderer all together. Would that not be an ample risk to take?
You're asking a lot for something that I think you may be able to find on your own by chance. [Also, they're asking a lot in general for something that they aren't sure can be promised.] Just because there's three of you doesn't mean that the work would be less, unfortunately. Especially throwing in the idea of staying awake all night regardless of who was the target.
Which of you would volunteer to stay awake in this case?
Alright. One task for each of you. Valvatorez, I can assign a second to you but you'll have to complete your other one first before you can be rewarded for the second.
[Give him a moment to think...]
For Milla...get four people to show you their special skill. One person from each element. Anything in public doesn't count, it has to be a sign of trust somehow.
For Shess...exchange a secret with four people. Same thing, one from each element.
And for Valvatorez...find an equal amount of comrades that equal the number you've had before. Bond with them, teaching them at least one new skill.
These should be pretty straight forward, shouldn't they?
Special skill? I assume you mean their named skills. I will have to find the members of our groups whose skills manifest as something show-able, rather than a curse-like ability...
[Still, she doesn't seem troubled by it. Just musing.]
If that happens, then that deal's broken. You can't really pick up from someone else, I think, especially since all three of you have your own now. And it should be a secret that's new. It's not really a secret if you know about it already, is it?
Week 3, Monday
So…what's this actually about?

breaks tag order for just a sec
He made a trade with me to stay awake Thursday night if someone he's looking after is targeted. There's kind of a difference.

Sol said he isn't sure if the universe will allow us to stay awake every Thursday. So I asked if that would work instead.
no subject
Is that something you would be able to institute for all three of us?

So we would each have a separate deal. Is that the universe's doing?
no subject
Very well. For my own part, I am more than happy to enter into a new trade, or... "contract", as it may be.
Name the requirements. I have no issue with both Shess and Valvatorez hearing my own.

I would do it.
[But he'll also look to both Milla and Shess. He gets a pretty good guess that all three of them would be willing.]

It could easily be randomized. I wouldn't mind.

Or each of us getting an item to protect one person every week.

One of our membership being able to stay awake for the whole of a Thursday, regardless of target, would be a boon.
I would be happy to work towards such a goal.
