she says nothing as he approaches, as he takes her hand, and he starts to guide her away from the river. she just lets him, the grip she has around his hand causing her knuckles to turn white. ]
[So they go to the garden, and he feels that tight grip and doesn't even mind. He waits until they're burrowed far away from everyone else and surrounded by plants before he stops them.]
We'll be okay. Nobody's gonna take me or Lune out that easy, you know? [But he's still holding her hand so like. He's a little more worried than he'll let on.]
[...well. He hasn't really removed his hood for most people this week, but his hand moves to reach up and slip it off so she can see him. Somehow he thinks that's important at the moment.]
...I don't know if there's anything we can do with so few people left. The ending's getting close, and I wanted to find another way out but things aren't looking so good.
