NOT MUCH... they think he's interesting because he's so different from them and the others, and they feel some pity for him because of that, too - out of everyone, he's obviously the weakest and smallest, and they know how that feels (or the weakest part, anyway.) That alone made them sympathetic. Other than that, though, they don't know him very well. They don't dislike him, and they don't think he's annoying, either, at least.
