the fact that Kazuaki is a giant talking bird doesn't faze Shess because he's also a furry. Anyhow, Kazuaki was obviously sad and terrified, so natural empathy pinged? It cost him nothing to be nice to Kazuaki and to encourage him, especially when Kazuaki eventually started trying!!

And then Kazuaki kind of. died. which was bad. Shess hoped he was chilling over in the gy, at least. Because Jan is dumb and thought all of my first tweets were one, I never realized that message was from Kazuaki but Shess never managed to find the note anyway. Sorry, Kazuaki.

If Kazuaki found more confidence/a will to live by the end, then Shess is happy for him! (Also I don't know if he has games on his tablet so thank god Kazuaki never asked.)
